Ozone as a Natural Treatment For Acne

Many skincare products today that claim to get rid of acne, end up drying the face and causing irritation. This is largely due to the toxic ingredients found in them.

These products may lessen breakouts and cause them to subside for a period of time, but in the long run breakouts continue. This is because these products treat the symptoms of acne, not the root cause.

Ozone oil helps deal with the underlying cause of breakouts, and over time eliminates acne all together.

There are four main causes of acne:

– Oil Production

– Dead Skin Cells

– Clogged Pores

– Bacteria

Oil Production

It may seem a little odd at first to add oil to the skin to help with oil production, but it works. Often acne is caused by the skin’s sebaceous glands (oil producing glands) being over active. When this happens sebum (the oil the skin naturally produces), gets cloged into the pores causing acne. The trick is to not dry the skin out, rather to help the body learn how to produce the right amount of oil.

Ozonated Hemp seed oil does not clog pores and is high in linoleum acid content, an important component regulating oil production. When you apply ozone oil it helps the body regulate its own oil production. Eventually the body is able to produce a healthy amount of oil on its own, resulting in skin that is clear of breakouts.

Dead Skin Cells & Clogged Pores

Your skin is constantly changing and regulating itself. Every hour 30,000-40,000 dead skin cells fall off. That means we lose a million skin cells a day. Often times the dead cells get stuck inside pores causing whiteheads and blackheads.

When you apply ozone oil, the ozone acts as a scavenger of these dead skin cells, by oxygenating the localized area it decrease the amount of dead cells found on the skin. Resulting in fewer clogged pores and clearer skin.

Bacteria

As the oil and the dead skin cells get mixed together they attract bacteria. It is the mixture of all three that cause pimples to arise, but mostly the bacteria. When the bacteria get stuck inside your pores, that is when pimples happen, and breakouts occur. When you are able to control the bacteria you are able to control acne.

Ozone oil is a highly effective anti-bacterial and studies have shown that ozone oil acts as an antiseptic when applied to the skin. By oxygenating the environment it conquers and destroys any living microbes including bacteria on the skin, resulting in skin that is free of the acne causing bacteria, and skin that is free of:
